- CALGARY -- While attracting capital today is much tougher, the smart oilpatch money invests in recognized junior and mid-sized oil and gas companies who have proven executive teams holding an appealing asset base. This is the initial finding of two breakfast focus groups recently hosted by Sunesis Consulting Ltd. and Mount Royal University’s (MRU) Bissett School of Business, which launches an extensive, multi-year benchmarking study to evaluate if the old model of ‘built to sell’ is still valid or if it should be replaced by a new ‘built to last’ business model.
